Pros & Cons

Pros

It works amazingly! It's very easy to use. The trap runs on 4 aa batteries which can be easily replaced using the access panel on the outside of the power section. Easy to open battery compartment on bottom of trap and install the batteries.

Easy to bait - i use the ‘opium of the mouses’ (peanut butter) set up where the buggers access and in no time zap - the electronic kill chamber does the job humanely and without the * mess. Most humane way to rid them, in my opinion.

The trap easily fits into a corner and isn't an eyesore. The trap has a low profile so it easily fits in locations that can interfere with the taller snap arms on traditional old-fashioned and more modern rodent snap traps.

Peanut butter is the best attractant i've ever used, and a tiny bit goes a long way with their sensitive noses.

Make sure the batteries are fully charged to deliver the most efficient process.

Cons

The new style is much less frequent, so very easy to miss that you caught one. Plenty of fingerprints all over. Mouse attempted to chew through bait area from outside, gave up.

So i am wasting some money and just purchased extra cartridges to slide on and throw the whole cartridge with the mouse away.

Don't waist money on cheap batteries for this item.

We are glad we purchased even though they are a bit pricey.

However if you are a big squeamish candy ass like me, you will most likely go for the choice to purchase the (reasonably priced...  Read More
