Pros & Cons
Pros
Bait well insures trap springs with maximum effect. I'm glad we purchased these because we didn't realize how bad the infestation was until we got 5 rats in one night. Improves odds of a catch kill to over 50%.
Caught these 2 rats within an hour of setting them. Easy to set. Don't put a lot. Leaving them set just in case there are more.
Cons
I think a city rat, if found dead in this thing, woud have died of embarrassment. Each time the rat licks it clean and has never been caught.

Competitiveness
I have yet to catch a rat in any but this i do know, if you attach it to a 2x6 piece of wood the rat is not going to get away.

Holes in the base make it easy to screw down although none of the twentyish rats theyve dispatched have been able to make any attempt to run after being hit
