Pros & Cons
Pros
Well balanced and good blade length. An excellent addition to my set of kitchen knives.
Works great, sharp, stiff with a lil bit of flex, tons of grip on the handle on greasy situations. My recommendation is to verify the size of the blade very carefully before purchase to make sure it fits in your drawer or knife block.
Took care of an 18lb brisket. Cuts thru meat like butter without shredding. Trimmed the fat-cap on a pork * to the perfect depth.
Cons
It looks and feels like an inexpensive knife. That's ok if it does a good job of slicing meat. What i have is a knife that is duller than dirt.
Highlights
Quality
Excellent knife and the length is ideal for slicing those big pieces of meat to paper thin slices if you need to.
This knife is a high quality product.
The plastic sheath that comes with this knife is awful at best.
Have cut 12 brisket and still razr sharp.
Price
Was a fair price and met all expectations.
It is worth every penny and more.
This knife cost less than half of what i paid for a dalstrong shogun slicer.
I'm honestly thinking of replacing my current brisket knife, which was almost triple the price.
Shipping
It arrived nicely packaged and even sooner than expected.
The knife arrived on time without any damage.
This 12" knife arrived at the same speed as all my other prime deliveries.
Not exactly how i thought it would be shipped, but it arrived intact, and does a wonderful job.
Packaging/appearance
Well designed slicing knife, came nicely packaged and was as described.
Came super sharp and has breezed through all forms of meat
The knife arrived in an oversized clear plastic sleeve, which is not really great for storage exactly.
Competitiveness
Great company, i have some other knives from them and they are easy to maintain compared to some of the other expensive brands.
Saw this particular knife on a cooking show comparing to other slicers and won hands down!
Cause let's face the facts, it's a very basic design, it's not a "super steel", and a fairly low price tag compared to other kn... Read More
I chose it based solely on the brand, and the reviews, instead of price and apearance.
