Pros

The chef's choice knife is extremely sharp and lightweight. It is great at coring strawberries, slicing bananas, and paring things. The blade is so thin it makes slicing/peeling/paring super easy.

You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Have used them for years. Love these little gems. Works very well as a paring knife.

Cons

Don't be lulled into buying this knife based on the amazon's choice designation. More like a promotional give away iten than a real paring knife. I am mystified by all the good reviews.

It's extremely lightweight. The blade is very thin. It has no weight and the blade became dull after a few uses. Surprisingly thin and flimsy.

The knife was clearly replaced with a counterfeit through the hole. These are very cheaply made knives, not worth 6$.

The handle is very skinny and feels, for lack of a better word, cheap. Its small, and my hands are not big. Its taxing on the hand to grip.
