Pros

Kitchen knives are infinitely sharper out of the box. Ran across you tube videos on butcher's knives. One of my fellow chefs has the same knife made by a different company and mine works just a grand if not better.

Eastern rosewood handled santoku is extremely comfortable. It's lighter in weight than i expected, given that it has a rosewood handle rather than the fibrox one.

Cons

This is disgusting and completely unacceptable for a kitchen tool" "big gap between the blade and the handle. They call it rosewood which i certainly believe it is not.

It is a super light, yet high quality knife.

Lighter than i am used to but the build is intuitive and i adjusted quickly.

Onions, potatoes, and carrots are cut without effort so little in fact that you should be careful not to cut yourself.

The blade, as with all victorinox knives is razor sharp.

Price

I've wanted this santuko blade for a while, i saw it for a really good price and i'm very happy.

The photo indicates i got my money’s worth!

Just $20 bucks on amazon, those steel rods found in knife block sets don't work and the electric grinding wheels are certain ru...  Read More

For the price i cant fault it.

Packaging/appearance

Came extra sharp out of the box.

Competitiveness

If i had to compare this blade edge to a pocket knife out of the box, i would say it's in the same category as spyderco blades.

The knives i usually use are wustof or global.

To get a better knife youd have to spend double or triple the cost of a victorinox knife

My only complaint is that the wooden handle and the metal tang are not flush so there is a small gap where the handle meets the metal tang that pinches the palm of your hand

After reading reviews i purchased this one and now i kick myself for not buying this decades ago
