Unfortunately i was stupid and didnt measure my drawer depth and i had to fit it in diagonally as none of my drawers are quite deep enough

My good knives were just loose in the drawer i had them stored in and my knife block was too big to have on my very small counter

They moved around when the drawer opened and closed and were not very safe plus the blades were at risk for being nicked

Which brings me to the next point the dowel pins that hold the thing together are also meant to hold the knife blades up off the bottom of the drawer but the knives barely reach the front ones so the blades end up able to fall to the bottom
