Pros & Cons
Pros
This knife is perfect for slicing steak. Cuts through slabs of rib eye with ease. Great butchering tool.
Super happy with my purchase. Works great, just the right amount of flex. Good quality item.
The blade is quite stiff and mine arrived virtually razor sharp. This knife in conjunction with the victorinox semi-stiff boning knife is like a match made in heaven.
Great edge retention, high quality steel and are easily sharpened. Haven't had to steel it yet, just an occasional quick burnish with a blank steel to roll the edge back to straight.
Love this knife. Had a cheaper jero knife to start my apprenticeship and wanted an upgrade. Does need a sheath for safety.
Cons
This is no better than the $17 knock off. Don't us the postal service.

Packaging/appearance
I ordered two, and they were a much-appreciated christmas gift to my two sons, who love to cook big cuts of meat!
It was in a cardboard box within a thin plastic sheath.
Disappointed that it doesn’t come with sheath and packaging was terrible.
Updated rating from 2 to 4 stars, completely happy with thr product, would give 5 stars if the packaging was better, particular... Read More
Competitiveness
I buy whole strip loins and boneless rib eye roasts from costco to cut my own steaks.
Purchased the same brand and size in a breaking knife and wanted to compare.
I have a cheaper off brand the looks like this one and it flexes a lot when i try to cut.
