Pros

Victorinox knives are the finest professional knives available. I am slowly replacing the majority of my much older/lower quality knives. This knife is a workhorse.

This 8 victorinox carving knife is a great knife & a great value! Great knife. As a carver, it's fantastic.

The victorinox is a great knife for carving turkey and ham. It is also good for carving roast beef and beef. For carving a turkey it is the best knife for turkeycarving.

The chefs is the thickest. The rounded slicer, bread, and boning knives are medium and a little 'flexy', as they should or need to be. The blade width is right between a chefs knife and a filet knife. All the knives are lightweight yet well-balanced.

Each is great at it's function, but they can't really swap duties. The handles can be properly sanitized in a dishwasher.

Cons

This victorinox 8-inch carving knife is a nice weight and shape, but it didn't seem all that sharp right from the beginning.
