The knife edge doesnt even touch the inside corner of the protector

And if you have carbon steel knives its a good idea to not leave them stored in these protectors for too long

What they should have done is staggered the edges so you could get a grip on both sides and pull apart more easily

The magnets totally cover and encapsulate the blades and dont slide around

Not a huge issue but if they make a clear or translucent cover with magnets on the edges that would be a better solution
