Pros
Bought to replace a 25 year old potato peeler. Old one in picture is 7 yrs old used every day got spare and one for my neighbour as she called whilst i was peeling something and asked if i could get her one.
The original is still sharp, easy to use and not in any way deteriorated. There is a plastic handle one available as well which may be suitable for dishwasher. The end of the blade is quite sharp which is great for removing 'eyes' from potatoes.
Cons
It looks cheap, feels cheap, and peels as though it's a real cheapie. The handle looks rough and crudely made. The genuine one is smoother, slimmer and better made.
Wouldn’t dig into potatoes, would scrim over surface regardless of pressure or angle. The blade is too small and blunt even for potatoes, forget if you wanted to peel a butternut squash with that. Unless i got a blunt one, it cuts as though it's gone ... Read More
