Worth every cent, it's now my preferred everyday prep/chef knife!
If you can afford to pay more, invest in the best knife that you can afford.
It's the thinnest blade of this size and in this price class.
Packaging/appearance
Came super sharp, in a case, easy to control, just the right size.
It's easy to pack in a travel bag or even a picnic basket.
Competitiveness
Stay sharper for longer over the competitors at a 1/3 of the price.
But i am coming from using top of the line zwilling hendkels (generous gift) for past decades, so maybe not fair comparison.
