Pros

The knife is a beast. This knife opens smooth as butter.

Knife razor sharp, just a little large for pocket carry but doable. Main blade isn't extremely sharp, but then it is mostly serrated. Razor sharp blade.

Closing involves holding the knife, blade up, and swiping it on my thigh. Ergonomically it feels and operates great in the hand. Would prefer it to open easier and then lock.

I wish there were 2 options available for this a serrated large knife blade that doesn't have that special lock, and an eye in the awl so that it can be used for sewing. I like this model as it has a very usable main locking blade. Nice to have the fl... Read More

Cons

Victorinox is no longer the quality product i once knew. It looks like the machine that made it was either off alignment or in need of repair. My final complaint is the left handed liner lock feature.

The locking blade is not easy to deploy with one hand. To close blade you press the lock to unlock the blade, but it takes force. It vexes me greatly that i am unable to locate a non-serrated version to replace it.

The awl/reamer is tough to open (use a coin or something), it's hard on thumbnails, lol.

At that price or lower, this knife is perfect in every way.

This is a great choice and a great value!

Probably not worth more then $40-ish bucks.

A bit pricey, but it comes as advertised.

I am not a "brand-name" follower, and though i know the victorinox brand, i really have never had a knife from the company before this one.

If you like the victorinox brand this could be a good choice for you.

If there is any fault it is mine for not more closely comparing the size to one i previously purchased.
