Pros

I am not a knife nut, but i know when a knife meets the needs and demands of a user. Takes a bit of effort to disengage but i think thats a plus as its reassuring that the knife is solid. Between my sog mutitool and this knife i'm covered 100%.

It is surprisingly natural to close. Easy to open and close one-handed. Ergonomically it feels and operates great in the hand.

Great for scraping bark or wood and for scaling fish. Serrated blade takes extra care to sharpen. Blade is razor sharp.

The craftsmanship and materials can't be beat. The branding speaks for itself. Well made, versatile tool.

Cons

The locking blade (a great idea) is not easy to deploy with one hand. To close blade you press the lock to unlock the blade, but it takes force. Title reads one-hand trekker non-serrated knife.

Victorinox is no longer the quality product i once knew. My final complaint is the left handed liner lock feature.
