Pros
The bladesafe protects the knife blade by the sides which prevents the edge from coming in contact with the protector. The plastic feels solid and the latches are robust and sturdy. Perfect for storing my good knives in a drawer.
Cons
It mostly does the job but the design doesn't thrill me. This bad score is not for the product.
Victorinox knives are only 1. There are a couple of small padded spacers inside the guard but they're not big enough to actually push on the blade and hold it firmly. The gap between the little rubber tabs in the sheath is too large to hold this knife... Read More

These covers work very well with quality knives.
The plastic feels solid and the latches are robust and sturdy.
I do not care about harmless little rubber-like marks on the side of my blade, they have no effect on the cutting edge.
The knife doesn't move around at all, and i believe it would protect the knife even if it fell.
Price
Was 1/2 the cost of others i own.

It does leave a smudge on the blade but the smudges come off easily

I do recognize the issue that other owners of this product have the rubber leaving marks on the blade

However a little bit of rubbing alcohol or any mild cleaner takes care of that issue easily
