There are high priced knives out there with clever descriptions that are made from entry price steel. Which means its not great and staying sharp. If so look elesware and maybe spend a little more.

This knife is satisfyingly sharp to begin with however it doesnt hold an edge particularly well

I also use a number of global knives and would probably suggest that on balance spending that bit more on those is probably better value for money
