Pros & Cons
Pros
The larger version is heavier and i hope will be able to keep better track of it. It's compact enough to carry in a business suit pocket, and definitely has sturdy screwdriver blades. Olvidé guardarla en el equipaje de bodega y me la decomisaron en el... Read More
My keychain knives include a rally, an esquire, a signature and a minichamp. Opted a serrated blade over scissors on the swiss tool. The most important tool in my opinion are the scissors.
Sharp, crafted good. Quality workmanship. No downgrade in quality.
The knife itself seems okay. The vics is great. Just like macgyver. Would recommend to others with no regrets.
A classic, beautiful knife. Love it. Very happy with the purchase.
Cons
Horrible experience for a 70 yr old trying to pull out each piece. They are too small to use and i can't use it conveniently. The hype is just in the name.
Highlights
Quality
The quality has been consistently top notch.
He uses it every day, very durable.
The knife he opened was new and shiny.
At 3 layers it’s not to thick or heavy but provides tools that will cover uses you didn’t know you had.
Price
They were very reasonably priced and they pull love to gift this to someone else
Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
If i divide the price by the number of times it has been useful, i get about an average of 1 cent per moment of usefulness.
Packaging/appearance
The first swiss army knife that was mailed to me had scratches and the box was open and bent.
Ordered black, received the red version instead.
The packaging left much to be desired but the product itself is solid.
Finally, these are put together with superb engineering so the tools are densely packed.
Competitiveness
I've bought many of these that tsa now own.
I have also owned several models from each brand.
I generally find victorinox to be the better brand.
I bought a bunch of saks but i probably should have just stopped with the climber and rambler.

I got one in black because it was cheaper and the color of it matters not to me

I replaced a manyyearsold red climber with this because one of the scales is broken on the end and the rivet on the scissors is loose

Ill eventually use a punch or something to try and fix the rivet but the cost of a shiny new black climber delivered was just a few bucks more than buying new scales with shipping so the red one will sit in the drawer as a spare
