Pros

Every meat cutter at nearly every store uses a knife from this company. The wide blade makes it easy to get straight uniform thickness slices. Taking a boneless leg of lamb and cubing it for souvlaki skewers is nice and easy.

Victorinox is no joke. Worth every penny. This one is awesome. I am loving this knife.

Most of the arsenal of knives in our kitchen are victorianox. Excellent craftsmanship, victorinox makes the best knives. Victorianox has always made good inexpensive knives & this is no exception.

Cons

Disappointed at the sharpness. Save up for the real thing and don't order this. I am a butcher and all of my knives are fibrox pro they all have different handle so disappointed.

Great quality for the price and came with a very sharp edge.

I was gonna go with the old hickory.

Came in two bubble envelopes taped together with the knife in a plastic sheeth and cardboard over tip.

I did want the larger version, but the price on the smaller version was better.

No nice knife packaging, pamphlet for care or use instructions or anything with even company name.

Competitiveness

This knife is sturdy and you can def feel your cuts go though the meat wayyy smoother with precision.

Decided to get a larger knife for cutting up pork bellies at a butcher plant, this thing squares them up like a champ.
