Pros

Would recommend for sharpening pocket knives. The ribs are straight and even, it keeps the knives sharp. Once you know how honing works, it only takes a few streaks and your knives will be sharper then ever before.

This is our first honing steel we own and are very pleased with it. There are tons of honing steels on the market, but once you learn to trust victorinox, it's hard to pick anything else.

Cons

It has no looping end and thus is not useful to me for my application. Fix the description or risk further bad reviews.
