Pros & Cons
Pros
The rambler is one of my favorite every day carry (edc) tools. It has just enough tools for most everyday tasks, is extremely pocket friendly. There isn't much to be said that isn't mentioned in other reviews, a testament to the tool's great build qua... Read More
An excellent buy. Good price for the item. I expect it will outlast me. Get yourself one, either a classic, or the overachieving rambler.
Metal is softer than some knives, so it requires sharpening more frequently, but they're also easier to sharpen. Works well for cutting fingernails and the file works fine as well. The blade and scissors are the extras for me. I most use the scissors ... Read More
Victorinox craftsmanship, very sturdy. Great sturdy craftsman ship. It is well built and works smoothly.
The addition of a small phillips head screw driver and bottle opener is a game changer for this knife. It's a bit bigger because it has the bottle opener/wire stripper/phillips screwdriver blade.
Cons
Phillips head screw driver is very small. The one i received is a mini one.

This victorinox pocket knife was ordered to replace another model i had for many years and lost.
The tiny philips head is what was missing on original knife.
Price
For the price, it's a handy little tool.
A little more expensive but they do the job.
Packaging/appearance
Gives a little extra heft to your keys, and it's perfect for little jobs, like opening a bottle, opening a package, picking your teeth.
Great for opening packages and cutting/trimming things with the scissors.
However, the knife packaging only contained the knife which is odd.
Sure, it would be nice if it retained the corkscrew or had a more cheeseboard worth blade, but it packs the bare essentials in ... Read More
Competitiveness
This little pocket tool is the best one out there without competition.
A better option than the classic model, and for only a few dollars more.
The first was lost, the second was forfeit to tsa.
This is very similar to the classic, but with the extra tool.

One reason being that the blade when opened is on the opposite side of the key ring

On the classic the blade opens on the key ring side which makes it somewhat difficult to use the blade especially if you have a lanyard or something similar attached
