Pros

Great pocket tool, upgrade from cadet. Wishes it had a full sized phillips instead of a corkscrew.

Always a quality product from victorinox. Stepson is happy with it now. Still fairly satisfied with purchase.

It is just as good as i remembered. A no-brainer. The best for me. Highly recommend it.

Replacement for an identical knife that i had several years ago and lost while on a mountaineering trip in the tetons. Now, nearly 20 years later, i find myself drawn to the spartan again. Mine old one is red.

Cons

Very dissatisfied with the purchase. The locking mechanism is horrible. Did not hold up and ended up getting cut. It's also bulky.

Upon seeing the hardwood scaled spartan, i once again could not resist ( even after promising my wife i was done buying swiss army knives.

The add said it was cobalt, turned out to be sapphire transparent.

Price

These are becoming increasingly hard to find in this color so the premium was worth it.
