Pros & Cons
Pros
The knife can do just about anything i would need the scissor for. The corkscrew works! Can opener and bottle opener also work. It holds a toothpick and tweezers.
The size is perfect both for portability and lose-ability. It is slim and fits in my edc pouch and without making it bulge.
Well played victorinox. If vic. Who knows what other random things this knife may tackle on a night out! Expect to get another 40 years out of this waiter pocket knife (drinking less wine - tee hee).
This waiter is one awesome little pocket knife! This pocket knife is very socially acceptable. Rule never go anyplace without a knife.
Cons
It's lightweight but will serve 30 years on the shelf only. Knife tip pops up posing risk to user while attemping to use leverage with the corkscrew. Cork screw and bottle opener do not open easily.
Highlights
Quality
Used it for the first time recently, nice, sharp knife.
After nearly 40 years of heavy use to open wine bottles i broke the cork opener - rest of his original pocket knife is still awesome.
The knife was sharp, it had a bottle opener and a corkscrew along with a toothpick.
Im not sure why, but all of the knives i have gotten from this company are tough to pop out.
Price
At $16 it was a very good deal!
It’s a great minimal knife at a good price.
And it has the cork screw which is only mildly helpful unless you buy the glasses screwdriver that threads into the corkscrew f... Read More
Normally cheapest ones are $19-22, i saw this one for $17 new and jumped on it.
Shipping
I came pretty fast and although limited in functions, fine for most things needed, from opening a wine to removing a screw.
Packaging/appearance
I have it in my cooler/lunch box annnd the corkscrew means if need it for a picnic can still open up a wine bottle.
Competitiveness
So it is smaller than the compact, much cheaper, and is only missing the scissors.
A victorinox rambler was previously used for this purpose.
