It’s worthless for cutting open things like hot dog packages or chubs of raw meat if you want to just slip a point into some tight packaging to be able to then slit it open

Sure you can very carefully slice them open with the serrated edge but i tend to reach for a paring knife and use the nice sharp tip

It would be ever so much more convenient not to have to get another knife out but oh well

I am debating about taking it to my sharpening guy and having him put a point on it…still having that debate…
