Pros & Cons
Pros
Victorinox is sharp, right out of the box. Easy to sharpen too. Holds a sharp edge just as well as my fancy $350 knife.
It's lightweight, slices beautifully, holds an edge. Helps me cuts and chop veggies. I love its lines and how it easily rocks through slicing tasks.
This is the best kitchen chef's knife i've ever owned. Its length/ergonomics fits me perfectly. I am sure a culinary master might disagree, but this knife is perfect for my family and me.
Excellent job to the makers of this knife.
Cons
This is not worth the packaging it came in. Can't even cut through a tomato. Won't sharpen well at all, very dull after couple months.
Highlights
Quality
Very impressed with it and especially with the price!
High quality steel will really hold an edge.
Typical victorinox quality, which is very high.
Price
The weight, the edge, the feel in my hand , and the price!
Very good for the price, surprised it doesn’t cost more.
Shipping
"lifetime warranty" requires a 10$ service fee to examine the knife and must pay for shipping and long wait time.
Packaging/appearance
It is sharp, right out of the box.
Competitiveness
The thin blade is not a negative in my opinion, because it cuts through my fruit and veggies easily and much better than my cut... Read More
One of the best chef knives money can buy
I have a wusthof chef's knife as well, but i just don't use it given the victorinox slotted next to it in my block.
Next knife purchase will be a santuko.

If i had one concern it would be that the metal is much thinner than my previous knife so i’m certainly not going to be banging around like i used to and i’m concerned it may not take an edge
