The blade is so thin it hurts the hand when using the two-hand method to chop and dice.

One of the best chef knife i ever owned.
The thinner blade easily goes thru everything from tough beets and cabbage to tender tomatoes.

Yes you could get some $150 fancy japanese knife but for 99% of us that is overkill.

I have several cheap big box store knives and they are okay but after trying victorinox i will never go back
