At the current sale price, i would still make this purchase.

I saw this and decided to get it a few months early.

Packaging/appearance

Came in four boxes and the box with the record player in it was protected with foam braces and air bags.

Bouught this thinking that if it sounded like an 80's boom box encased in would i'd just return it.

What i dislike is the fact that the unit i received was slightly different than the one advertised on amazon.

The needle was protected with a plastic cover.

Somehow seems engineered for that as opposed to heavy metal.
