I used some thread lock on the extension shafts to prevent them from unscrewing due to vibration or being bumped when i change out the batteries on the wire free cameras have since returned by my arlo cameras and purchased amcrest wire free cameras

Plastic cheap would never tighten enough to hold camera in place long enough etc

I ended up painting mine white to match my arlo cameras
