First let me say that the instructions that come with it say the max weight is 66 pounds the amazon info listed 44 pounds id bet its closer to 22 pounds
If youve been researching wall mounts you probably came to the same conclusion i did this is a great price for a mount that holds up to 44 pounds similar ones cost 80 or more even from discount stores
Unfortunately this is a lesson where you probably want to spend more money because this product isnt what you need unless you have a very small tv maybe 14 or 15 i used it on a 24 with poor results
