I mounted the base into a stud with the provided lag screws and it's worked fine since then.

Now place the mount back on the wall and reinsert the first screw to hold it in place and finish with the other two screws.

This part of the install will need your socket wrench to complete as it is very hard to get screws all the way flush with the wall.

Then marked the other two holes with the mount against the wall.

This is a great tv mount at an even better price.

Not to mention the price is spot on!
