One camera lights up a decent portion of my backyard. The focal length is appropriate for installation at gates and doors. I have this camera mounted in the peak of my garage pointing at the driveway and front yard.
This camera is a little bigger than the other camera but still is not too big. They have a decently wide angle, and the night vision is spectacular.
The supplied mount is flexible and sturdy, although not a true ball-socket mount. The mounting bracket is a little weird, but overall easy to install. The arm that mounts the camera is metal, and you can adjust easily.
I am not in the habit of doing reviews, but this cam is about as good as one can expect for the price. Compared to some cmos cameras that came bundled with my dvr, this one's quality is much better.

Since this is my first experience with low cost cameras (our cameras run from $250-$600 each)my expectations might have been too high. The camera monitors my driveway which is 40 feet long, at that distance there is very little detail to the picture. ... Read More
