Pros
It's probably one of the cheaper ways to deter theft. It looks real and is a great deterrent in our computer labs.
Cons
The wiring is soooooooooo thin. As you try to hang the base of it, the wiring will pull out from the dome to the base which renders the unit useless.

At night from farther away it looks real however the closer you get it appears fake

The bad from a distance it looks great but up close it clearly looks like a fake choose based on usage

Tip do not put in the batteries the blinking red light makes it look fake just keep it off
