Mount the plate to the tv, secure the mount to the wall, and then just lift the tv up and hang it on the mount.
Mount came with extra screws to fit other tvs, and has adjustable arms for any circumstance.
The main thing was the lenth that it reaches away from the wall.
Despite the size limitation listed, because my 60" lcd tv was under the listed max weight, i decided to give it a shot, and it's great.

The reason i chose this mount is because it was among the cheaper ones that said it could adjust the angle of the tv left right updown as in to keep it parallel to the ceiling while already mounted on the wall
