Well made, simple, perfect for attaching a small flat monitor to the wall above my desk. The materials are a solid metal with no flex. My monitor is solidly supported.

However there are 6 holes for mounting to the wall and it only works with the 2 center holes the other 4 holes the included hardware domed not countersunk for obvious reasons block the second piece from sliding in properly

I had intended to use the right side holes for better alignment to a stud while staying centered on the wall and discovered too late that it didnt work

As for room behind the monitor not much at all for flat screens but if your cables go straight down or sideways you will be fine or you could always add some spacers

Unfortunately my monitors vesa mounting holes were recessed so the included screws were too short

The mount comes in 2 pieces with one piece going on the monitor and the other going on the wall

After i initially slid the monitor down into the wall mount i couldnt install the power cable and the hdmi cable since the space was too tight about 12 an inch

I ended up removing the monitor installing the cables and sliding the monitor back down on the wall mount with the cables hanging down
