    I think it could just as easily hold up a 45 tv provided it is screwed into wood properly

    Do not tighten the screws to the ceiling too much

    You can still secure it as is because the screws go through the center of the mount but the large screws take up a lot of real estate in the wood which could cause cracking of the beam but im no engineer
