It may be an overkill for smaller speakers but the ones that i bought were about 15x8x11 in dimension and weighed about 16pounds

Once we had located the stud the drilling took about 10 minutes and the rest of the install about 30 more

The screws that come with the mount are several inches long and once you get them in the mount is solidly connected to the wall

There was one little glitch but it was pretty minor and easily corrected

Looks like these were painted after being assembled so the adjusting screws were frozen in place by the paint
