Pros

Sturdy, easy to follow instructions and a nice build quality. Great investment for my setup. The svs primes weigh 6.

The jaws have small pins that securely hold the hard rubber ball in place. They have several attachments screws for different sized speakers. They are the only drywall anchor available.

Cons

My rear surrounds weigh 5 pounds each and these mounts have struggled to keep position. The ball is made of plastic. It moves under the weight, and gets chewed up by the socket teeth becoming unusable.

The connector is really small and narrow and slides right out of 5mm. Only one bolt size. It is impossible to securely mount the speaker - even with the lock nut.

You have to really crank down to get them stay at any one position. They are extremely difficult to position overhead. I suspect these rusty parts will continue to rust when exposed to the air.

Plastic anchors provided are not adequate for non-stud mounting on drywall. However, i am still left with a worthless item.

Quality

Used it on my sim racing 8040 rig to mount srs wind kit, super sturdy and adjustable in 3 directions

They are well built and hold the speakers steady and i don't fear them failing at any point.

I bought a plastic set first for my polk satellites and the plastic mounts broke from a stress fracture.

That being said, the method described by the other review would have also worked well, i just didn't have any extra lumber handy.

Price

Fantastic price, same exact item at bb is $40.

Finally found solid speaker mounts for my bose speakers at a fraction of the cost.

Packaging/appearance

Lots of accessories are included in the box for many different mounting styles.

The box came with screws and mounting hardware too.

Came with longer mounting bolts which i pre-drilled into studs so they are securely mounted against the wall.

Competitiveness

I have tried many other mounts and these work the best.

It fit like a glove and also had a bunch of accessories for other brands / speaker styles.
