Pros
Of my many hundreds or razors and brushes this stand as pictured, is the only one that will hold my prized merkur vision razor properly. This stainless steel stand is a nice matte steel color that's just right.
It matches my feather asd2 brushed finish de razor very well. Fit's my edwin jagger de89 as well as my art of shaving brush. The shave is much closer and my skin feels smooth.
The viking chieftain 5bc double edge razor is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship. Fits my vulfix brush like a charm. I use the viking brushes that fit perfectly upside down as well. I love this viking razor.
Cons
The stand does not sit flush, instead it balances on a small brass plate the size of a nickel. It sticks out a few millimeters, hence the wobble. My one brand and stick w it. It does that but damages them in the process.
Poor finish, its tarnishing under hard water. Very cheap plating. How was this engineered like this? Mine is not brass, but a brass color or paint?

The stand is well made and there was no issue with brush or razor fitting.

First one i ordered came broken, the base was unscrewed and missing.
Shipping
Amazon made it right and replaced it, but it took over a week to come.
Packaging/appearance
Not sure how it happened, actually looked like the package was tampered with.

Ive previously used an unbranded stand that was ok except for the fact its prongs werent widely spaced enough to accommodate the waist of most shaving brushes so i always had to mount the brushes on the prongs where the badger hair knot and the handle met which isnt ideal

The base is definitely heavier as well so its less prone to being knocked over

The matte finish doesnt look dirty nearly as quickly as polished chrome either

It does what you expect small gripe of not fully supporting bigger brushes but id expect having a medium to small brush would grant you a full 55 stars
