Pros

Once you get used to the non-swiveling head it’s smooth sailing and close shaves. It glides quite smoothly with no pressure. Makes it super easy to get those mustache hairs right below your nose.

It's manly and it's an art. Enjoy your shave like it was meant to be done. Not as ‘gentle’ as my lord/merkur-style but it’s more gentle than my 1960s gillette tech 3 piece.

Cons

This razor is terrible for beginners. The handle feels rather bulky and heavy and it's rather short as well. While shaving the handle is rather difficult to manoeuvrebecause it feels like a massively bulky piece of metal.

Quality

I’ve been using safety razors for about 10 years and i have to say i was pretty impressed with the quality of this razor.

Coming from straight razors, this was super easy to use and got a solid shave the first time.

The quality construction is obvious the first use.

I was so tired of constantly getting bloody cuts and burns from cheap disposable razors, and i never had any results with electric razors.

Price

These are very affordable for a safety razor and i have to say the quality is great at this price point.

(i use a cheaper razor to shave my legs with bc this one i save for that area)

There’s a reason i said “inexpensive” and not “cheap”.

Packaging/appearance

I got these as stocking stuffers for our boys (teenagers) and now my husband wants one as well.

Received a hand crafted applicator and cream so figured i’d complete an old school kit.

I got the rose gold and it is so pretty too so double win!

Competitiveness

As someone who always used store-bought cartridge razors, the difference is phenomenal!

Just the same, it is a great razor for those who want a more mild or beginner-friendly razor.

I know there are far more expensive options out there, but i'm new to de shaving so i didn't want to invest a lot of money.

10/10 will never go back to other razors.
