I have nicked myself using feather blades in this razor, but astra blades work great in it. It gives a superb shave. Great craftsmanship on the shaver.

It is a heavy, stout handle that feels comfortable in the hand. It's a good razor but the contour of the handle makes it a little difficult to hold. Handle screws on tight.

This razor has great balance and a nice heft to it. It's a little heavy specially for me. This piece is solid.

Cons

This razor is defective in both build quality and design. Build quality leaves the blade sitting diagonally in the razor. Shoddy quality of screw in protector.

I tried this out for the first time today and wow even after 4 days of no shaving it slid through like butter and never got clogged.

I had the emporer to begin with and with the mechanics it was terrible and kept clogging.

For the price i would recommend just buying it!

At the price of this product it is one of the best "buys" on amazon!

The prices for cartridges just seem absurd to me these days (maybe i've just gotten cheap in my old age).
