This bike is fine for road and light trail use but i would strongly recommend upgrading if you'll be hitting some more serious trails. The fork is steep and not shallow like a trek or diamond back. Gained near 1-1/2 from toes to front tire.

The frame seems solid and it appears to be well crafted. They hold me at my size without bending or breaking. Sturdy quality mountain bike.

This bike is a beast now! There is simply not another bike that matches the value of this one. The bike is impressive for the price.

This bike is dependable. I just hope it lasts as long as my previous mtb. That is not completely unreasonable.

Cons

This is my first 29er, and for the price it can't be beat.

Found this after ordering a suspension seatpost according to the size advertised on vilano website only to find out it was too large.

Keep this mind if contemplating a new seatpost.
