I thought maybe my cameras were getting old but thought i would try some new baulans first and that turned out to be the right decision

The existing ones are cheaply made and the bnc connections are loose and intermittent

This outer ring is what carries the coax shield connection and if it were thicker it would be less likely to wiggle and become intermittent over time
