It does the job and is easy enough to turn the dial. We choose this item since it did not add additional clutter. Unlike electric or computerized gadgets, they focus on one thing and they do it well.
Cons
Each port is increasingly intermittent. The slightest bump or movement of the cable causes it to disconnect. I know it's hooked up correctly, because it works for a couple devices, but not most.

For now it works and it was cheap and so for that i can recommend it.

Ordered it this morning along with an extra optical cable with same day shipping.

Just use the dial on the audio splitter to switch to pc or xbox depending on which one i want to use.
