We did split one connector but that was because we were pushing the rod in at an angle and not straight

As per another reviewer rods 1 and 3 have been muddled in the instructions but you can tell this from the pictures

Once you get to grips with parts and what goes where its easy to assemble and goes up really well and has lots of space with 12 shelves in total each holding around 2 pairs of adult shoes or 45 pairs of childrens shoes it does take up alot of space however so you do need plenty of room to store it once its up you would only be able to store flat shoes however as boots would not fit on the shelves as i had to lie my sons wellies down as they dont fit standing up and he is 4 so they are small

Only the measurement is slightly different after installation i measure it and here is the accutal size 105h x 28w x 115lcm my place is only 110 length and thats why this 5cm matters
