It aeroates the wine instantaneously. Instant difference in taste of wine. Red wine smells and tastes so much better when using the vinturi wine aerator.
Cons
It irritatingly drips after use and has to be washed before returning to box. It's also more cumbersome than simply pouring a glass. The holding device on the del;ux version is huge, making it the size of a beer pump. It's gone in the cupboard unlikel... Read More
As for the effect on the wine i'm afraid to say it is barely noticeable. Frankly can't detect much difference.

I originally purchased the vinturi deluxe areator in canada over 8-years ago now, cost us back then in 2008 some $80!
99 aerator is far beter in improving the taste of the cheap wine.

After buying the stand version we found that we never used the stand so your essentially better off buying the unit by itself
