Pros & Cons
Pros
I am a musician who also records music and has dabbled with cassette-to-digital conversions. Headphones play really well on this unit and the sound is full including the bass. Tips to maximize experience.
This unit has a queuing lever with a soft drop to prevent damage when placing the stylus/needle on the record. Dust accumulation is a problem and having that greatly minimizes it. Have had no issues with early stops.
Highlights
Quality
Great quality and the speakers are so nice!
Very good for the price as a gift.
But most folks will probably be dealing with the 12" records and those are usually ran at 33 &1/3.
Not the best sound quality but thats the point of records isnt it.
Price
We love this player, so easy to set up and good price.

The only thing of note and its a common one to most commercial consumer music playing systems is that the bass though heard and present is not as prominent as some would like in this day and age

But dont let that scare you just yet

Or which i prefer you can use the auto spin feature which starts the spin when the tone arm is moved from its neutral position handy for keeping the turntable still while allowing safe removal of records or doing a quick clean up of the stylus and then stops when it reaches the end of the record

Another question that is common for these units is skipping
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The only time i did experience skipping was on another used record i had purchased

Nothing needed to be modified on the turntable

But i decided to try and change out both the stylus and cartridge
