I can't really tell the difference but i guess it helps with the glare.
This polarizing filter has been helpful for conditions that may impair the image quality of my dash cam.

Price
Price is a little steep for what it is, but with how few people offer it.
That is price gouging to the extreme.
Packaging/appearance
The lens slides on to the camera from the side and clicks into place with 2 little nubs that slide into the grooves on the a119.
On the product itself, it does what it's supposed to and cuts down on the glare/reflections.
Competitiveness
Can't imagine doing without this on my dashcam.
I had a couple of the older models, but lost one as it apparently fell off.

Mine came pre-calibrated and it clips on securely without falling off on my viofo a119 v3.
