Pros & Cons
Pros
Both front and rear cameras provide crisp, clear footage, and features are very easy to be distinguished. One thing to consider is that on a upward opening suv rear door the wiring for the rear cam needs to be flexible.
Installed in my f150 supercrew with no issues. Long but not too long where one has a lot of slack after installing the cameras and routing the cables. If there is extra usb cable not being used, hide it below the driver framing above the pedals.
The rear camera is important. Usually many cars have those brown antifog stripes. That's why i recommend checking angles before installing/attaching the rear camera, because the stripe will eventually appear in the camera feed, so you don't want it bl... Read More
Connects to smart phone via wifi and viofo app. Only con i would have is that the app is kind of buggy. Best features:with wifi 5ghz, now downloads are way faster and instant. Gb microsd is recommended.
Cons
This difficulty to me is a deal-breaker and would be the first return i have ever made with an amazon product. Not even close. Needless to say, that's ridiculous.
Mobile app shows rear view horizontally flipped. The menu system is horrendous. Wifi is worthless.
It is really unnerving to be driving along and realize that it is frozen and hasn't been recording for the last who knows how long. It records the videos but needs formatting on startup so it then wipes the videos.
After about 6 months of use i started to get random freezes where i get a single beep. Extreme reflection and sunlight white outs ( white balance issue) negatively affects contrast. The cables are awkward and layout could have been placed better.
Highlights
Quality
Quality of recording is good and it does not malfunction in snow and hot summers (108 f).
This camera is extremely easy to use and installation, depending on how you’re doing it is easy.
I did the hardwire version (highly recommend) the video content continues to record even when car is off doing it the hardwire way.
Sound quality is great even though not really necessary if you’re just driving and blasting music lol.

The problem is that too much cable at the back causes gaps in the roof which can affect heating and cooling
