If you have a viofo dash cam, this is a nonnegotiable accessory. The polarizing lens is like polarized sunglasses for your camera. It is a bit pricey for what it is but what are you going to do.

Since it improves picture quality and there is no downside other than the small cost, i recommend that you get it. It much improves the video footage, and should be included with the camera.

It is too bad the camera doesn't already come with this treatment on the lens, rather than it being a separate accessory to purchase.

Without this polarizing lens, my viofo dash cam's lens was hit with sun glares and made it difficult to see detail in the recordings.

At a low cost of less than 15 bucks it was worth it.
