I asked my friend who had on some teva sandals if he found the floor slippery and he said he was just fine so it wasnt the floor it was the the vionic sandal

I have arch issues which are easily alleviated by using orthodox inserts in my shoes but that doesnt work with flip flops

The arch support took a bit of getting used to which showed it was working

The only way to justify this is if you really need flipflops with the arch support
