The dots on the quality dimmer knobs are just references, as the intensity of each spectrum is infinitely variable between high and low.

After considerable research i decided on the viparspectra 700 led.

It feels very well made and unlike several other $$$ lights has had no fan issues right out of the box.

This is a awsome light the other light i bought new recently was a failure.

I do have a viparspectra reflector-series 600w black on the way for the 3x3x6 tent which i will also do a review on.
