Pros

These lights are extremely bright in terms of par when put on full, particularly if you keep all the lenses on. The lights are more shimmery than the t5s. Seems well built. Great fluoresence, coverage, and shimmer with blues alone.

Budget recommended, fans are quiet. The par levels are almost 500 at the top to 150 at the bottom. Not bad but my tank is in the same room as my high end music listening room.

Cons

It's interesting the new sb reef board is not near as pleasing to the eye as the vipar was but the coral love the sb reef light and hated the vipar light. Definitely a fowlr light. Imo u get what u pay for.

At 12" above the tank water level 30 blue and 10% white i bleached 3 acro in 2 days after adding this light.

All in all this light is diffficult to setup initially.
